This year’s River Ranger Rendezvous is hosted by the Southwest Chapter of the River Management Society (RMS) and will be held at the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area in Salida, CO on August 9-11, 2011. A few weeks ago, I drove 32 hours and 1800 miles round trip to float 5 hours and 13 miles on the Colorado River. Not really as extreme as it sounds.
